Maggie Ruff PMHNP-BC
Maggie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for early intervention and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health care. She brings experience in inpatient adolescent psychiatry and has spent the past three years serving the QCP behavioral health clinic as a registered nurse. This allowed her to build meaningful connections with our patients and gain a deep understanding of the patients we serve. She is dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care and believes that starting treatment early can help patients build healthier, more fulfilling futures.

Brittany Jones LICSW
Brittany Jones, LICSW is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in pediatric behavioral health. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, behavioral concerns, and emotional regulation. Brittany values a collaborative approach, partnering with families, schools, and healthcare providers to support each child’s unique needs and long-term success. She is dedicated to creating a safe, encouraging environment where children can build resilience and families leave feeling supported and empowered. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, serving in her church, reading a book, and exploring the outdoors.

When should you (a parent or guardian) consider scheduling an appointment to the BHC?
If you are concerned that your child has behavioral issues that need to be addressed, please discuss them with a provider at one of our pediatric offices, and we will be happy to schedule an appointment.
As always, you are the parent, and if you feel your child needs to be seen, you can call us at (256) 826-1800.
We accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Allkids included), Alabama Medicaid, Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, and MOST commercial insurance.

Referrals
At this time, our BHC providers are not taking outside clinic referrals.
We ask for your patience as we dedicate our time to the patients currently established in our care.
We are working on a solution to re-open referrals so we may help more children in our community!
Payment Options
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.
Self-pay patients are expected to pay for services in full at the time of visit. You may discuss pricing before scheduling a visit.
Co-Pays are due at time of visit. Deductible and co-insurance bills must be paid prior to your follow up visit.
If your child is having a crisis after hours, please go to your local/preferred ER.
